Logitech Rumble Pad 2
Quick-Start Guide
Install the Rumble Pad software included with the Rumble Pad. It is best to download the newest version of the Rumble pad drivers and software from Logitech's website.
The controller or the controller's receiver must be plugged in before starting software that will use it.
When a Rumble Pad button is pressed or a joystick moved, the Rumble Pad's wireless receiver (the part that plugs into the computer) will indicate it's receiving the signal from the controller by blinking in response to the activity. It will then stop blinking.
If the green light on the receiver is continually blinking, press the panel covering the blinking green light (it's actually button) and the receiver will try to reconnect to the Rumble Pad. If the light continues to blink (but not in response to manipulating the controller), check the Rumble Pad's batteries.
After being unused for a few minutes, a wireless Rumble Pad will go into sleep mode to conserve the batteries' power. Pressing a button or moving a joystick on the gamepad will wake (fully power) it back up.
A game pad can enable or disable its tactile support. Press the Rumble Pad button labeled "Vibration" to toggle the tactile support on/off. A long vibration immediately after pressing indicates it has just been enabled. A short vibration indicates tactile support is disabled. If the receiver is indicating the connection to the Rumble Pad is fine but there is no vibration when pressing the vibration button, be sure the gamepad's tactile support is enabled.
It's possible for the batteries to become too low to power the Rumble Pad's tactile functions, yet have enough power for the other features of the gamepad to function.
Use the Ruble Pad's software from Logitech to run tests on it, and to set preferences like the overall tactile intensity level.
